Fire Update/Power Outage 10/12/15

Campus officials are working to restore power to approximately 35 buildings impacted by a power outage. Lands, Buildings and Real Estate (LBRE) Operations Center is communicating directly with building managers about the power outage. The electrical fire at Maples is thought to be related to the power outage. No one was injured in the fire at Maples, which occurred in the southeast corner of the building. Fire crews have departed Maples. Updates will be posed at emergency.stanford.edu
