Sheriff’s Office update on hit and run

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office has issued an update, including a suspect sketch, on the November 3 hit and run that occurred on the Stanford campus. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a hate crime. The update is available here. Further updates and ongoing press releases from the Sheriff’s Office can be found here.
Stanford campus updates, exams to resume as scheduled

Power has been restored to the Stanford campus, with the exception of the Upper Row houses and houses in the faculty subdivision which operate on a separate PG&E power supply. All dining halls are available 24 hours a day, as areas of respite and for student study spaces. Crews have identified and are repairing a fault on an underground circuit. Power has been restored to all areas of the Stanford campus. Casper Dining will reopen for dinner service. The outage is within the campus power infrastructure and unrelated to PG&E. Power restored to main campus through secondary PG&E line

Power delivery to the main campus has been restored through a secondary PG&E line and is expected to keep the campus fully powered until the PG&E transmission problem is resolved. There is a power outage on the main Stanford campus due to a PG&E transmission problem. Work is underway to transfer power delivery to a secondary PG&E line, which we expect will occur soon. Additional information will be posted on this site as it becomes available.
